How to get the most even result.

For the best and longest-lasting result, exfoliate 24 hours in advance, shave or wax at least 12-24 hours before, and avoid lotion, deodorant, or perfume on the day of your tan.

After your appointment, avoid showering, sweating, or skin contact with water for 8-12 hours. Wear loose, dark clothing and moisturize daily after your first rinse.

What exactly is a spray tan?

A spray tan is a sunless tanning method where a fine mist of tanning solution containing DHA is airbrushed onto your skin. DHA reacts with the outer layer of the skin to develop a natural-looking tan over several hours. It does not protect from sunburn, so SPF is still necessary.

How long does it last?

Most tans last 5-7 days, depending on your skin type, preparation, and aftercare. Proper exfoliation before the appointment and daily moisturizing afterward can extend the life of your tan.

How does an at-home session work?

I bring a professional pop-up spray tent, protective setup, and all necessary equipment. Setup takes only a few minutes and fits comfortably in most spaces. Everything stays inside the spray area, and I pack it away once we are done.

What should I wear during the tan?

You choose what feels comfortable: swimsuit, dark undergarments, disposable underwear, or no tan lines. This is a professional and discreet service, and your comfort and privacy come first.

Will it stain sheets or clothes?

A small amount of colour transfer is possible before your first rinse, especially if you sweat. Wear dark, loose clothing after your appointment and consider dark sheets the first night. The product is water-soluble and usually washes out easily.

Is it safe for sensitive skin, pregnancy, or breastfeeding?

Norvell formulas are designed to be gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. If you have allergies or concerns, let me know before the appointment. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is best to consult your doctor first; application can also be modified to avoid specific areas if needed.
